Enhancing sports club management with a user-focused platform.
PROJECT SUMMARY
The project aimed to create a comprehensive management platform specifically designed for sports clubs, with a focus on field hockey. The goal was to tackle the challenges clubs face in efficiently managing teams, facilities, and communication. The platform was developed to streamline club operations, enhance communication, and improve overall organizational efficiency for coaches, players, and administrators.
OUTCOME STATEMENT
Our platform provided sports clubs with a centralized solution for managing team schedules, booking facilities, tracking player performance, and organizing events. By streamlining operations and offering user-friendly tools, the platform has improved coordination among coaches and administrators, ensuring smoother club management and communication across all levels. The result is a significant enhancement in organizational efficiency and user satisfaction.
USERS AND NEED
The primary users of the platform include coaches, administrators, and players within sports clubs, particularly field hockey. Coaches needed efficient tools to manage practice schedules, matches, and team communications, while administrators required solutions for booking facilities and overseeing club operations. The platform addressed these needs by offering intuitive features that simplify management tasks and provide real-time insights into team performance and attendance.
MY ROLE
As a UX/UI designer and project manager, my role spanned several key areas. I conducted user research to gain insights into the workflows and challenges faced by sports clubs, facilitated design iterations based on feedback, and collaborated with stakeholders to ensure that the platform aligned with user needs. My responsibilities included designing user interfaces, organizing usability testing, and leading the overall development process to ensure the product was both functional and intuitive.

Coaches now have access to an easy-to-use calendar interface for managing practice sessions and matches, with features such as recurring bookings and reminders. Facility booking has been simplified with a system that displays real-time availability and instant confirmations. Additionally, the platform includes tools for tracking player attendance and performance, empowering coaches to monitor progress and enhance team strategies. The intuitive design of the platform ensures that users can navigate effortlessly, improving efficiency across all club operations.
